One of the difficult tasks in scheduling a tournament or league involves identifying coaching conflicts when one coach is coaching multiple teams. Thankfully, GotSoccer has tools to help identify these coaching conflicts. The process to identify these conflicts is simple:
Step One:
You will need to identify and organize the coaching assignments; the below video demonstrates how to find the assignments. Each team in your event will have a coach # and the coach's names will appear with the ability to assign teams with the drag and drop tool. (For a league, the tab will read "Coaches").
Step Two:
Once you have assigned all the teams to the appropriate coaches, you will need to go to the "Chart" view in the schedule to view coaching conflicts on selected dates.
Step Three:
After you select the date, you will click "Show Conflicts" to display the coaching conflicts, all matches with conflicts will flash (see video below).
Of note, you can also search conflicts for individual coaches.
Here, you see that any match with a coaching conflict will flash. This allows you to easily find these matches for rescheduling.
