In order to setup fields in GotSoccer you must be logged into an Organization account. Adding your fields in GotSoccer will allow you to schedule matches on those fields for your tournaments and leagues.
Step One:
If you are a club looking to create fields for home game scheduling, you will click on the blue "Club" tab, then on "Facilities" in the light grey menu bar.
If you are running a tournament or league, you will click on the Tournament or League tab, then click "Fields" in your top left hand corner.
Step Two:
Click "Add New Field."
Step Three:
Fill out "Field Information" section.
Name/Location = Name of the field.
Number = If their are multiple fields at a location you can enter numbers or letters to differentiate each field.
Size = The length and width of the field (110x 55).
Step Four:
Fill out "Field or Facility Address" section.
This is where you will enter the address and best contact number for the field. The address is extremely important so teams will be able to access the Google maps through their team accounts/team app to get directions to the field.
Step Five:
Fill out "Normal Availability" section, and the "Allowed Player Ages" section
Hours = Time the field is open.
Available Dates = If this field is only available for a certain time frame you can enter in dates.
These will be the age groups allowed on the field. If this field is used for various age groups we recommend selecting all ages. (For clubs doing home game scheduling this will be the common choice)
Step Six:
Be sure to set up the valid event types.
Step Seven:
Press "Save" at the bottom of the screen.
