This tutorial will demonstrate how to configure group play games in a flight and generate the matches. This will be the steps, after you have built and placed the teams inside of the flight.
Step One:
First decide if the group play will be a standard round robin, a complete cross over, or a custom group play. You can see which match format is currently selected for a flight by clicking into the flight and viewing the "Group Play Setup" in the bottom left.
Standard = Complete Round Robin
Two Bracket Crossover = Bracket A teams crossover and play every team in Bracket B
Custom Template = Please contact your GotSoccer tournament representative to configure a custom template
Step Two:
When you are ready to generate the matches based off of the group play setup you selected, go to the "Schedule" section located in the grey bar and then click on the "Scheduling Tools" tab.
Once in the "Scheduling Tools" tab you will see the game generation tools for group play and playoff games. To generate the group play games, you first need to click "enable" to turn on the tool. Once you have enabled the group play tool, you can then select the flight in the drop down. Once you have selected the flight, click "Create Matches" and this will generate the matches onto the open days of the event.
Once the games have been generated, you can begin scheduling.
To generate the Playoff matchups, use the tool below the group play tool. You can either select all flights or select a specific flight, then click, "Create Playoffs".
