Why is there a fee for merging team accounts?

Account merge requests are manually verified by our staff to ensure accuracy and maintain ranking integrity. We do not allow teams to combine to boost rankings. Teams are not allowed to have multiple awards from a single event. A merge may impact flight values and awards for associated events.
