As a tournament director you will want to make sure your teams are seeded properly to make sure you have fair brackets, avoid coaching conflicts, and avoid teams from the same club playing in the same group when it is not necessary. Follow the steps below to size and seed your flights.
Step One:
Click into your tournament and go to the "Flights" tab in the grey menu bar and filter by the age group you want to work with.
Step Two:
Make sure you have the correct max teams for your bracket. For example, if you have four teams click on the word "Bracket A" and make sure the max teams is set to four. If you need to add a bracket click "Add Bracket" below and then adjust the number of teams accordingly.
Step Three:
Once you have the correct number of teams set, and you see the slots as "empty" like the screenshot below hit the "Refresh Seeding." link.
Step Four:
Once all of the teams are populated click "Edit Seeding"
Step Five:
Now you can drag and drop the teams on top of each other to swap spots or in between teams to teams in between teams.
NOTE: Mozilla FireFox does not support drag and drop.
TIP: If you have a lot of teams you can use the "find" function on your computer to look for a team ('Command F' on a mac or 'Control F' on a PC).
